Chocolate Colour Theme for a Wedding
As every bride who visits www.glamourousgowns.co.uk knows there are a huge range of colours to choose from when selecting your bridal gown, bridesmaids and flower girl dresses.
I have tried to gather some pictures of useful ideas based on various popular colours. Each mood chart has a wide range of elements found at weddings; bridal flowers, wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, invitations, favours, wedding cake and decorating ideas are included with each one customisable to your own theme.
We have not tried to be comprehensive but to give a flavour of items that could be used.
Now you have seen our mood board why not create your own?
You can use magazines, bridal magazines, country garden magazines or any other source. Collect your ideas together in a plastic wallet and then, when you are ready, sort through and choose your favourite elements.
Finally, if Chocolate is not one of your wedding colours check out our other mood boards.

I think this is a great idea as it will blend smoothly, how about cream or champagne as the main colour for the decoration and then Mocha as the accent - much more upbeat.[/p][p]
So ivory/cream chair covers and mocha sashes, then ivory candles on round mirrors with cinnamon sticks or stones in bowls with the candles standing in them.

I have chosen Chocolate brown, Champagne and Cream as my colours. I love the inspiration board but I still have no idea of how I'm going to incorporate the colours into the reception decor. Can anyone please advise as to how I can put all these colours or at least two colours into the decor.

I have tried looking for sample materials to see if I can find a combination that works but I only find gold(ugly).

If anyone has pictures please provide me with them so that I can see what it will look like. a friend suggested that I make some chairs choc browm and others champagne, then i should buy lots of Amarula for the Cream part of the wedding. I like this idea but will it work in practice???

thanks in advance for the help

Hi, The bridesmiads dresses shown are Forever Yours 76215 and 77201 while the wedding dress has now been discontinued. The closest matches that could come in a gold/champagne would be Forever Yours 410108, 49210 or 47133 which comes in a gorgeous cafe colour.

I would say fuchsia tones of pink and bright purple would work best if you want those 2 colours to stand out against the darker chocolate, if you just want hints think about metallic pink and purple as scatter confetti or crystals on the tables.

Most of the items shown were found using Google and other search engines. However watch our news items as we are in the process of starting up a sister site for reception decorations and favours.....
